Today is my grandparents 62nd wedding anniversary! That's about 75 percent of their entire lives! Can you imagine spending that much time with one person? Please don't misunderstand me, I am happy and excited for them. It's just one of those realizations that is suddenly striking me as amazing and unique.
Their legacy is incredible. Get this, they have 5 children, 16 grandchildren, 28 1/2 great-grandchildren (one baby is on the way), and 2 great-great-grandchildren! That is 51 1/2 descendants! So, for their wedding anniversary, we had a photo of them with 9 of the great-grandchildren printed on an 18x24 in. canvas. You can see the photo above. Naturally, it was incomplete when it was photographed, and it's outdated now, but it's a beautiful piece of history for two people that have influenced the lives of so many.
